Sozopol, is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast very close to Turkeys border. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country, known for the Apollonia art and film festival that takes place in September.

Built on a small peninsula the old part of town is a beautiful place to enjoy a taverna and try the Bulgarian food.

Nearby beautiful beaches and small beach hotels if you want to enjoy the Black Sea.
